Many people seem to think that when it comes to tailoring that it has to be all all or nothing. This couldn’t be more untrue, it can be as subtle or succinct as you like. Modern fashion has allowed the line between smart and casual to get closer, instead of staying on opposite ends of the room they now both work together for a contemporary approach to men’s fashion. And with Spring in the air we can all drop the heavy woollen overcoats and thick tweed blazers for something a little lighter. When I talk about tailoring I’m putting shirting, trousers, blazer jackets and suiting all into one dapper category. There’s a stigma on these sartorial items, one which brands it as a piece which can only be worn for formal events, work and interviews. Yes they’re perfect for such occasions but it’s also great to mix in smarter pieces with a bit of denim, a casual tee or....
