Creative Recreation

Just arrived this week is the first delivery from Creative Recreation pre-autumn collection. The Kaplan trainer returns and comes in two options. Firstly there is the perforated leather body upper in a choice either black or navy colour options. The season sees the contrast colour inner with matching sole colour and patent leather toe, tongue and heel. The second option in the Kaplan style has the suede upper again featuring the patent leather toe, tongue and heel detail.

J.Lindeberg Spring/Summer 2013

The brand was founded by Swedish born designer Johan Lindeberg in 1996 and was launched later that summer. Johan resigned from his marketing directors position to pursue and to create his own personal identity within a brand that he could love and wear.

The first collection by J.Lindeberg was called “21st Century Lifestyle” which was launched in Autumn/Winter of 1997 in New York featuring men's fashion and golf clothing. Immediately after the launch the golfing community took serious interest in the collection as Jesper Parnevik PGA-tour golfer and friend of Johan helped promote the label by later winning the Byron Nelson Classic championship dressed in J.Lindeberg attire.

Bee Line Spring/Summer 2013

New to arrive at John Anthony this Spring / Summer is Bee Line, stable mate of Pharrell Williams’ Billionare Boys Club and Ice Cream.

Bee Line is an exciting collaboration between Pharrell and well respected American menswear designer Mark McNairy.

The collaboration is widely regarded as one of the most exciting in menswear currently, with McNairy previously the creative director of Ivy League outfitters J.Press.

The stand out piece sees Bee Line’s take on the Varsity Jacket with contra sleeves featuring large Polka Dots. The distinctive Bee logo features across Tees this season.

    Dsquared was launched in 1994 by Canadian born identical twin brothers Dean and Dan. Later they moved to Italy where they began working for house of Gianni Versace and Diesel which helped fund the launch of DSquared2.

    2003 saw The Catens Awarded both the GQ men of the year Breakout Design award and the golden needle award.
