Dolce & Gabbana was founded by italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana in 1985 based in Milan, and later became established world wide and by 2005, the pair build up a staggering turnover of an estimated €597 million. Dolce & Gabbana is the mainline brand, as the design has more of a formal long term timeless trend.

Nine years after Dolce & Gabbana, D&G was born, D&G is more of casual line for the younger quirky and more flamboyant individual, D&G has more of an urban inspiration with a sensual and contemporary feel, D&G would rather set the trend, than follow it.

D&G has endorsed many A-list celebs from the likes of Madonna, Scarlett Johansson and the latest Alexander Burke, some of whom have designed their own eyewear. D&G by Dolce & Gabbana has a strongly established menswear ranger, that will only continue to grow from strength to strength.
