A bit more about Lyle & Scott
Lyle & Scott a British brand founded in 1874 by William Lyle and Walter Scott in the Scottish town of Harwick. Lyle & Scott formerly known for its Golfing knitwear through the 60's and 70's was picked up again in the 80's by the sport fashion kids who seen vintage sport labels such as Lyle & Scott, Tacchini and Fila were worn on the football terraces around the UK.
Lyle & Scott seemed to fall off the radar for some time until bands like The Artic Monkeys, Pete Doherty and Kasabian picked up on this classic British Heritage brand and gave it the new cool brand to be seen in today.
Lyle & Scott Vintage, as the name says it all has gone through its archive and rediscovered its back Catalogue of designs and brought them back to date which stands out in the collections they produce today. The brand has seen phenomenal growth since its re-birth in 2006, and the gold eagle will have its place as one of the all time classic's in many years to come.
