Ralph Lauren the brand was launched in 1967, his first collection was a range of ties followed by a Boutique store within Manhattans famous Bloomingdales department store. This followed closely with a women's suiting collection based on a classic men's style, menswear soon followed.
This all American luxury global brand has grown over the decades and has expanded the Polo Ralph Lauren brand growing the collections that Ralph Lauren offer from men's and women's clothing ranges to fragrances and a kids offering. In 2006 Polo Ralph Lauren became the first official outfitter of the All England Tennis tournament Wimbledon.
This Spring / Summer seasons look puts Ralph Lauren at the fore front of fashion with its preppie look offering a wide selection of polo shirts in a whole host of colours along with the chino and plaid shirts.
