NAPAPIJRI HISTORY:

In 1987, in the shadow of Europe's highest peak Mont Blanc, an Italian manufacturer of travel bags introduced a new meaning to outdoor apparel, combining innovative materials with a close attention to style. Napapijri is a variation of the Finnish word for the Arctic Circle and the logo, half positive and half negative, expresses the North and South Poles in graphic form. The Norwegian flag is closely linked to the brand's DNA, representing Europe’s northernmost country, the birthplace of some of the great explorers of the 20th century as well as a land of extreme conditions and magnificent landscapes. In 1990 the iconic Skidoo jacket was born, no longer just am accessory brand, launching it's own range of clothing. In 97' their first Alpine store opened in the ski resort of Chamonix. In the following years Napapijri expand to open more stores in Japan and Paris, finally in 2002 launching their Kids range. They currently have over 100 stores across the world, including the major fashion cities aswell as the most prestigious ski resorts.
