Established in 1971 in a little cafe in Saint Tropez, Vilebrequin started as a sketch on a napkin but has grown into an internationally recognised luxury label. Fred Prysquel designed a collection of men's swim shorts that was inspired by the legendary St Tropez lifestyle of Bridgitte Bardot and co. Merging the Island's passion and colours to create a collection that defied tradition. Prysquel was a passionate fan of motor racing and this is reflected in the name 'Vilebrequin' which is french for crankshaft. The collection has moved beyond the spinnaker sailcloth shorts to incorporate a full range of resort wear from driving loafers to kidswear.
