VIVIENNE WESTWOOD HISTORY :

Vivienne Westwood Anglomania is a diffusion line from the much loved British designer Dame Vivienne Westwood. Starting her design career in 1971 at 430 Kings Road where she opened 'Let It Rock' – which later became 'Worlds End' - it has been a tale of true British style, eccentricity and rebellion. Iconic styles such as the high collar shirt and 'drunken' cut trouser sit alongside Westwood's continued experiments with fabric, cut and pattern. This period saw the birth of the punk rock movement of which McLaren, Westwood's partner, became the manager of the infamous punk band "The Sex Pistols", of which Vivienne Westwood drew most of her inspiration for the fashion designs.
